Aim

Safe manual handling is important to protect you from the pain and suffering that come with certain risks involved. Awkward postures, poor lifting techniques, and failing to risk assess adequately increase the risk of injury during manual handling tasks. The aim of this course is to provide the learner with the theoretical skills to make their work practice safe for them and others.

It is a requirement that employees attend Manual Handling training with particular emphasis on anyone who is engaged in the lifting and handling of loads.

Assessment: Questionnaire (Pass rate 90%)

Certification: FPST Online Participatory Certificate

Note: You will only be certified for online theory training. If you require the practical element also a version of this course is available that requires the participant to upload a video of themselves demonstrating the skills and once the they are assessed to have completed it correctly the appropriate certification is issued.
